Meet Erica
Erica is a Marriage & Family Therapy intern, specializing in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges with compassion and expertise. Whether you’re seeking support to strengthen your marriage, heal from past wounds, or foster healthier family dynamics, I am here to help.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices. I create a safe and non judgmental space where you can explore your emotions, improve communication, and build resilience. With a deep commitment to your well-being, I tailor each session to meet your unique needs, empowering you with the tools and insights necessary for meaningful growth.
No matter where you are on your journey, I am dedicated to walking alongside you with care and support. Let me help you rediscover connection, peace, and hope.
My graduate studies are through Abilene Christian University and completed my undergraduate studies through Texas Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. In 2003, I relocated to the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. I currently reside in Aledo with my husband, son, and father. I love spending time with my family here and back in El Paso along with my husband’s family in San Antonio.
As I made my way through undergraduate school, I worked at behavioral health facilities that were both in- patient and out patient based. Then, I worked with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services – Child Protective Services. I was able to see many dynamics within families and individuals that create difficulties and conflicts. It is my passion to help those who want to be helped. Where there is a will. There is a way.
