Meet Tyler

My name is Tyler Bailey-Bovill, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in counseling from the University of North Texas. I have worked with adolescents and adults in the outpatient care setting, as well as adolescents in the PHP/IOP setting.

I believe in the person-centered approach to counseling, which asserts that clients are the experts of their own lives. As a counselor, my role is to be a compassionate facilitator that assists in providing you with the tools to change your life and grow as a person. I want to provide a safe space for you to explore your identity, obstacles, and strengths alike. I believe that counseling is not a one-size-fits-all, and as such, it is my goal to provide the most comfortable and compatible care for each client. In providing that care, it is my hope that each client feels accepted and understood.

I live in Newark with my husband and pug. During my free time I enjoy reading, playing video games, spending time with friends and family, watching movies, and exercising..
