Couples Counseling
Couples counseling and marriage counseling gives couples the tools to communicate effectively, solve problems, build trust, and develop intimacy. Couples may seek counseling for any number of reasons, including communication problems, power struggles, sexual problems, infidelity, blended family issues, or dealing with major changes.
Play Therapy
Play therapy is a counseling approach that builds on the natural communication and learning processes of children. The therapist uses games, toys, sandtray and other mediums (clay, drawings, paint) to help a child learn to communicate with others, express feelings, modify behavior, develop problem-solving skills, and learn to relate to others in various ways.
Family Therapy
Family therapy helps families improve communication and resolve conflicts. Various family structures may benefit from family therapy, such as parent(s) and child/children, blended families, and extended families (grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins).
Premarital Counseling
Premarital counseling can help couples consider and discuss issues that will increase the likelihood of a successful marriage/partnership. Topics such as money, sex, kids, and in-laws can be emotional topics.
Christian Counseling
Christian counseling applies Christianity with psychotherapy techniques. Customized treatment plans incorporate an approach to counseling that take into account spiritual, psychological, emotional, social, and biological dimensions of the whole person.
